Mission & Approach

I’ve always been drawn to people’s stories and what makes them who they are. I understand that so much of who we are as humans is masked to those on the outside. As we walk through the world, we can feel a misalignment with our inner self and what others see, bringing us to different ways of coping. This can feel distressing. It can pull us further away from our true selves. Perhaps we feel stuck, anxious, depressed, shame, distant in our relationships, like we don’t know who we are. I believe that by approaching all parts of our internal landscape with openness, kindness, and acceptance, we can work towards a felt inner peace. It is my mission to support clients in this process. To walk alongside them as they uncover what they’ve been carrying and their experience within the world.

I’m here to be with you on your journey, meeting you exactly where you are. I bring curiosity and a gentle approach to my sessions. I work from a person-centered and trauma-informed lens, which means you are the expert of your own experience and your safety and the awareness of what you’ve been through is at the forefront of our work. I understand that the therapeutic relationship can feel strange at times. Trust and safety are crucial in our sessions. I also understand that this is built over time. Our sessions are taken at your pace, and I prioritize building this trust from the ground up.

I bring an integration of Psychodynamic, Mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) approaches to our sessions. I aim to help you move towards and through the emotions, thoughts, and body sensations you’re experiencing through a lens of compassion and openness. Through our work, it is my goal to help you gain a deeper knowledge of what your body’s been holding and how your internal landscape has been built based on your life’s experiences. To come home to yourself.

Together, we will work towards goals that feel right for you. It is an honor to be with you on your journey to a deeper self-knowing, more meaningful relationships, and the life that you envision for yourself.
